The pet feed extruder of DGP series has a built-in screw, lengthened screw sleeve, long material rotating and cutting time, adjustable temperature, and adjustable output torque, so the material produced has high expansion and smooth surface. This series of machine can produce different kinds of feeds: suspended aquatic feed pellets, submerged fish, shrimp and crab feed pellets, pet feed pellets, fishing fish feed pellets and so on.

The pet food is close to the human beings food in the fine level, the health index and the nutritional ingredients, some of them request more highly than human beings. In extruder, the ingredients are cooked under intense heat and pressure as it moves toward the open end of the extruder where ingredients pass through a shaping die and knife. Fish feed is dried in a multi-pass dryer until its moisture content is low enough to make it shelf stable. fish food may pass through a coating drum where animal fat and vitamins are applied onto fish food.

Dehydration: During the general expansion process of food or feed, 4% to 7% of the water content of the original base will be lost.
